SCLP To Organize More Counties

Political Organization

The Libertarian Party of South Carolina has set aside August 19, 2017 to organize the counties that were not organized on April 22, 2017.

The following legal ad was placed in The State newspaper:

The Libertarian Party of South Carolina will hold County organization conventions at Noon on August 19th in front of the county court house of each county FOR THOSE COUNTIES NOT ORGANIZED ON APRIL 22, 2017. Please contact the South Carolina Libertarian Party at 803-788-2226 for more information. This notice was ordered by Stewart Flood, Chairman.

On April 22, 2017, Libertarian Committees in thirteen counties were organized and afterwards, people in other counties became interested in organizing their county committees, also. The counties that have shown interest in organizing are Aiken, Beaufort, Florence, Jasper, Sumter and York but the ad was written in a way so that any other counties that did not organize can do so. The State Executive Committee plan to have support people at the meetings to advise for counties wishing assistance.
